Press release

Freggers.com - a new browser based virtual world for teens.

Regensburg, Germany, Feb. 15, 2008.

Free to play, nothing to install

Freggers uses modern Flash9 technology and runs directly in the web browser with nothing to install. Newbies create a new avatar for free and are ready to go.

Explore the world, meet new friends, chat with comfy features and soon you can go shopping, rent your own room and decorate it. Buy, trade, give or sell virtual items to others.

Freggers seamlessly integrates streaming video and audio, e.g. from YouTube, and offers a "public viewing" experience in front of a virtual tv set in your own room, a big canvas on the plaza, in the cinema or in a virtual club to dance-off.

The best of both worlds

Freggers is rendered in high resolution 3D. The detailed settings offer atmospheric sound effects and a smooth day and night cycle. The user sees the world in an easy to grasp isometric perspective with a foolproof point & click interface.

But Freggers goes far beyond other browser-based worlds. Server based real time rendering and intelligent streaming allow features that normally only real 3D-worlds can offer, e.g. individually equipped avatars with arbitrary complex motions. Even user-textured and -designed three-dimensional objects (e.g. furniture) are possible.

Open for partners

Themed sub worlds and an expansion philosophy that keeps the user growth in mind offer an attractive and controlled environment for real world brands. Those brands can soon get their own tailor-made sub worlds with customized entries on their websites. Freggers offers the perfect plattform and the whole infrastructure for selling branded virtual items.

Success Story

A beta version is online at www.freggers.de since May 2007 and has already acquired over 250.000 registered users. "Even for us this success is amazing. With the beta we just wanted to test some technical foundations. The really interesting stuff is still in development.", says CEO Paul Schmid.
